Ah, technology!

The thrill of what can be done, the despair of something being wrong and having to find workarounds but then the satisfaction of completion - all this in just a weekend! Finally have the video of my solo show finished and you can find it at this link: This is the 3rd attempt at putting this video together. For the first two, sent it out to friends for feedback and damn if they weren't right about some of their comments. So thanks Cherie, Tawnie and JK for helping me make it a very, very nice little video. And thanks Randy Thurman, a fellow Webist, for your original music that was perfect. Here's Randy's photo and a bit of background about him:

Randy Thurman is an artist, musician, composer, poet, writer, etc. living and working in rural south east Tennessee. Randy's art has exhibited at Monkdogz Urban Art, Gallery 181, Jay Etkins Gallery, Bare Brush, and Randy's music has traveled throughout the US and abroad in London, Belgium, and Australia. "There are two kinds of people in the world, and I am neither." --RT

  • Good to know there are other artists out there who use more than just one medium for their messages. I was beginning to feel like the Lone Ranger, only I don't know how to ride a horse.
You might also notice a new logo to the right - the Society of Midnight Wanderers. I was invited to join this special group of bloggers by J.D. Beaudoin, whose blog is called The Uneasy Supplicant which you can find under likeable links. Thanks JD, it's a wonderful complement!
